Ivan Kljakovič Gašpić second in Palma

Trofeo Princessa Sofia hasn’t provided sailing fans with any surprises, this especially being true in the Finn class, where British Giles Scott continued with his outstanding performance to claim another win on a big regatta, although he wasn’t completely satisfied with his sailing:
“It was good to see how I could go in a different boat. Finns are very personal, so to be able to use someone else’s and still come away with the regatta win, you have to take some positives from that and it’s all good practice. I feel that things haven’t really gone my way this week so to come away with the victory is pretty good.”

Second place award went to Sandiliner Ivan Kljaković Gašpić. Third was Finnish Tapio Nirkko and fourth Sandiliner and olympic medallist Jonathan Lobert from France. There were many other successful sailors wearing our products, yet mentioning all of them would make this article too long.

For our fans we have one more information to share with you. Vasilij Žbogar, double olympic medallist from Laser class and currently vice champion in Finn class, has told us that his new boat that he has launched a few weeks ago is phenomenally fast. Maybe there is a change in Finn the top leaderboard position after all …
