|Marin Medak's kayak adventure|
What about a two months, 1500 km trip with a seakayak?
SandiLiner Marin Medak (SLO) is relatively new to the kayaking world, he started paddling last year when he took some paddling lessons & than went on a month long seakayak "vacation" paddling most of the Croatian coastline (Lošinj-Dubrovink & back up to Zadar).
This year he decided to break the time record paddling some 550 km from Savurdia to Dubrovnik in only 7 days. This means more or less 13 hours of paddling per day. Finished this "race" he plans to take it easy & paddle all the way to the Greek island of Zakinthos - some 1500km from the starting point.
Marin started paddling yesterday & is progressing really fast. You can check his progression & read his blog (in Slovenian) here.
